Affirmation Monday is back!!! This time around we are serving youth boys and girls!

The first Affirmation Monday this Fall was a success! 🍂

We kicked things off by pulling affirmation cards and discussing their meaning. We focused on properly greeting others and speaking with confidence, with four key takeaways:

1. Body posture

2. Eye contact

3. Tone of voice

4. Firm, formal handshake 🤝

We also put a fun spin on Duck, Duck, Goose, having each scholar introduce themselves by sharing their name, school, and something they enjoy doing for fun. Thanks to the Jessie Igou Community Center and the City of Chattanooga Community Development for allowing us to serve the Eastdale Community.
