Meet Euphrates

Founder of Student4Life, Inc.: Euphrates Deaun Catawnee, formerly known as Brandon Deaun Green.

Born in North Carolina, skin visibly blue and not breathing on the "Day of the Dead" (Halloween), Euphrates embraces life's unique challenges that has shaped his journey. By fully embracing and understanding the laws of the land and the deep, complex history of human genocide and slavery intertwined with his Amerindian and African heritage, he has come to radically accept the realities of the nation's past and its lasting impact on present generations, shaping the minds of future generations in the process. Euphrates identifies as one among many who strive to uplift humanity, restore broken DNA and "lost" human history, and unite ALL of humanity. Through education and entertainment, Euphrates aims to share wisdom rooted in his miraculous journey and in the vast continents and oceans of Mother Earth, inspiring the exploration and expansion of human consciousness.

Life itself became his greatest teacher as he believes in the transformative power of knowledge and guidance. As an infant born with a rare congenital-heart disease (Tetralogy of Fallot), he fought for his life, endured multiple open-heart surgeries throughout his childhood, and this struggle shaped his perspective and resilience. After a successful sports career, capped by an senior year undefeated football state championship (2011 Bowling Green High School, Bowling Green, KY), becoming a two-sport collegiate athlete (Campbellsville University, Campbellsville, KY), and a few years of coaching high school football, he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, which caused him to become severely ill.

Shortly after earning his Master's in School Counseling in 2020 and beginning his professional career, Euphrates faced a series of life-threatening health battles. He endured severe gastrointestinal complications and fought off COVID-19, also needing a fourth pulmonary valve replacement in 2020 and learned of a second heart murmur during the process, and later premature ventricular contractions (PVC) and premature atrial contractions (PAC) started; only to later discover that he had a congenital lower back and hip deformity. This condition required two hip surgeries and was further complicated by osteoporosis, arthritis, nerve damage and degenerative disc disease affecting multiple discs.

Through it all, the experiences have ignited a painful passion for education, coaching, and mentoring and a life-time commitment to learning. No doubt, the challenges of peer pressure, moving from state-to-state as a child, physical pain and extreme trauma throughout different stages of his life added an extra layer of complexity. However, the disabilities and what can be perceived as unfortunate experiences have ultimately strengthened Euphrates ABILITY to helping others navigate their own paths, overcome obstacles, and discover their true potential.

Euphrates is a dedicated mentor to youth across Chattanooga and currently serves as a substitute teacher in Hamilton County Schools. He is also the author of Tasteful Thoughts for the Mind and Belly (2025), available on multiple platforms including Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and more.

Looking ahead, Euphrates has several exciting upcoming releases: North American Indigenous Tribes Word Search, Energy in Motion Word Search, Unchained Consciousness, and 33 sHORT sTORIES.

Please note: Purchases of Euphrates’ books are independent and do not contribute to Student4Life, Inc.
